Relationships Australia organisations have been providing mediation services since their inception and have extensive experience in FDR staff development, training and supervision. All personnel involved in this initiative are qualified in training and assessment.

Relationships Australia (Western Australia) (RAWA) has a strong history in FDR training, having provided a five day FDR course for the last 10 years to a wide range of WA practitioners. RAWA mediators also assist other training providers in WA, including LEADR, IAMA and Trillium. In addition, RAWA delivers a range of professional development courses, workshops and seminars in the areas of domestic violence, relationship education, counselling, conflict resolution and communication skills.

Relationships Australia (Tasmania) (RA Tas) has been providing quality FDR services across Tasmania for more than 15 years. As one of the original funded FDR service providers in Tasmania, RA Tas has provided training and mentoring to many existing FDR practitioners in Tasmania. Training has been tailored to meet the requirements of various groups and at different sites throughout the state. Most recently RA Tas has focused on developing approaches to child inclusive FDR practice that are consistent with current research and acknowledged good practice. RA Tas is seen by many FDR services nationally as providing leadership in this area.

Relationships Australia (Queensland) (RAQ) has over 20 years experience providing quality, professional FDR services throughout Queensland. Our commitment to best practice and involvement in research and quality assurance processes has maintained RAQ's position as a leader in the FDR field. RAQ is experienced in the provision of FDR training and has been offering five day internal FDR training since 1996. Our practice experience covers many socio-economic groups in various geographical regions across the country. RAQ offers customised training in a wide range of relationship support service areas to the community, public and corporate sector and RAQ staff contribute to the teaching and clinical supervision of post-graduate university programs.

Relationships Australia (Canberra and Regions) (RACR) has been providing high quality FDR services for about 18 years in the ACT and NSW's Riverina region. RACR has a long history of training and providing professional supervision to professionals in relationship support services in the areas of FDR, couples counselling, counselling, working with children and group work. Training has been delivered to professionals in the private, public service and community sectors as well as University students in the disciplines of law, psychology and social work. RACR FDR training will be conducted by a team of highly trained professionals with a range of qualifications from law, counselling, education, psychology and social work. RACR FDR practitioners have had an ongoing commitment to research and best practice standards relating to FDR practice and have contributed to the development of regulations around FDR competencies in the ACT, Dr Jen McIntosh's research project team on child inclusive practice and continue to play an integral part in the collaborative law system in Canberra.

Relationships Australia (Northern Territory) (RANT) delivers professional training in the Northern Territory in partnership with the Australian Institute of Social Relations. For over a decade RANT has delivered Higher Education and VET courses such as the Graduate Diploma in Systemic and Couple Therapy and the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision. RANT has also facilitated the provision of five day FDR training, including courses especially catering for Indigenous mediators. RANT has fifteen years experience in providing high quality FDR services and members of RANT’s professional staff contribute to Higher Education teaching and clinical supervision.
