Australian Institute of Relationship Studies

The Australian Institute of Relationship Studies (AIRS) has been an RTO for 6 years and has provided high quality training courses for more than 20 years including Family Dispute Resolution training across New South Wales. This training has ranged from one-day professional development initiatives to one year accredited courses.

The mediation course was first accredited under VETAB in 1999, as were the Diploma in Counselling and Group Work, the Graduate Diploma of Couple Therapy and the Graduate Diploma of Family Therapy. Our training has experiential components with a focus on achieving competency. AIRS has an extensive experience in providing workplace placements for learners in Family Dispute Resolution training.

AIRS is also a higher education provider and has provided the Graduate Certificate in Mediation since 2001. It also delivers the Graduate Diploma in Couple and Family Therapy, the first year articulation course into the University of NSW Masters in Couple and Family Therapy, and has a long standing partnership with Charles Sturt University and will deliver elective subjects in the Masters of Clinical Practice (Relationship Therapy) by distance education. Clinical practice residentials and online learning are incorporated.
