Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution
Current Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners
(on the register before 1 July 2009 - interim arrangements)

Practitioners who were included on the Attorney General’s Register under the interim arrangements before 1 July 2009,
can meet the final accreditation standards by demonstrating competency in the three specified units (or higher education provider equivalent). A practitioner registered before 1 July 2009, had until 30 June 2011 to achieve competency in the three units (required to pay full fees).

New to the FDR sector?
Accreditation from 1 July 2009

New people to the field, or practitioners that were not included on the Register before 1 July 2009 under the interim arrangements, can be accredited under the final standards by:

  1. Completing the full Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution
    (paying full fees to the relevant Registered Training Organisation)
  2. Possessing an appropriate qualification or accreditation under the National Mediation Accreditation Scheme and competency in the six compulsory units from the Vocational Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution
    (paying full fees to the relevant Registered Training Organisation)

Family Dispute Resolution.
Search your options:

Practitioners will need to access the training from Registered Training Organisations on a fee for service basis.
This includes those practitioners who do not achieve competency in the three specified units by 30 June 2011.
