Privacy
The Australian FDR Training Group respects the rights of clients, students and staff to privacy and confidentiality of their information and to responsible use of information obtained in the course of The Australian FDR Training Group’s business. This principal of absolute confidentiality holds except in instances where maintaining confidentiality may lead to extreme harm for the client themselves or other individuals, or where legal proceedings (if applicable) may be entered into, or where the sharing of information is consented to in writing by the person concerned which can be a condition of service for some programs.
In addition, information about students undertaking nationally recognised training will be supplied to the vocational education and training (VET) regulatory body within your RTO’s State upon the issuance of qualifications or statements of attainment. This is for the purpose of maintaining a national record of qualifications or competency achieved and is a requirement of all RTOs.
Each RTO is required to maintain accurate records of the attendance and progress of students and can provide copies of these records to students on request.
The electronic data base which holds secure information on students including personal details, enrolment details and results will only be accessed by relevant RTO staff.
Photographs of students will not be used in publications without the student’s awareness and written consent.
